Ghost driver being offset slightly forward

Hi!

Just wanted to add to the feedback shared by ZakB on Discord, where he mentioned:

“My personal inclination would be to not have that offset, as the cars should naturally offset from each other as the race goes on, and it’d be nice to see if I was actually on pace with the ghost — but I see where you’re coming from.”

I know this update literally just came out yesterday, so I didn’t even plan to give any feedback yet — I just wanted to enjoy the implementation. But that was honestly the first thing that came to mind.

After trying a few times to keep up with someone’s ghost (or even my own), I sometimes ended up finishing right alongside it, yet with a slightly faster time. Or even just centimeters behind the ghost, but still with a better final time.

So please, if possible, I’d love to see ZakB’s suggestion considered — I completely agree with his take on that.

And just so this isn’t only a message agreeing with another community member... please bring a dark mode to the tracks! hahaha

It doesn’t even have to be fully “dark,” to be honest — just something that makes the track stand out more and reduces the brightness a bit, so it’s easier on the eyes.

Other than that, the game is extremely fun, and I’d easily pay to have access to it, no matter which platform it ends up on (maybe Steam someday?).
